Mono-Ammonium Phosphate(MAP)

N% P2O5%
12 21.9
Chemical NameMono ammonium phosphate
Crop Segments All
Features Nitrogen and phosphorus present in every molecules
Quality & HandlingPartical size 1.2-1.5 mm Crystalized size. Bulk density 1.8 grams per mole.
Blending Blends with most other NPK products.

Features

  • MAP is a high analysis source of phosphorus.
  • A cost effective crystallize product.
  • Good handling characteristics.
  • The nitrogen in MAP is in the Ammonical form, which resists leaching and is a slower release form of nitrogen.
  • The product has an acid reaction in the soil which can be an advantage in neutral and high pH soils. Therefore MAP is used in preference to DAP on alkaline soils.

Manufacture

Ammonia gas is reacted with phosphoric acid, to form a pure white crystalized dried and screened.

Storage and handling

  • Will store freely in shed storage for extended periods with little concern about moisture 0.5%.
  • Covering with a tarp will greatly  reduce any moist air uptake.
  • The use of augers may damage the fertiliser and increase any handling problems.
  • Do not leave exposed to moist air.
  • Either fill or empty (completely), the drill or air-seeder fertiliser box overnight.
  • Raise the equipment  tynes from the soil to stop moisture moving up the tubes.

Restrictions

  • For sowing there is little risk of affecting germination, even at high rates. As a general rule, a maximum of 20kg/ha of nitrogen at seeding of cereals should be used.
  • When applying MAP, the fertiliser should be banded 5cm away from the seed, either below or to the side. MAP is low in sulphur (1%). It is not recommended for high sulphur requiring crops such as canola, unless blended with sulphate of ammonia or other sulphur source.
  • Do not store in silos.

Product :

  • (Leaf) Diammonium phosphate (DAP) is the world’s most widely used phosphorus (P) fertilizer. It is made from two common constituents in the fertilizer industry and it is popular because of its relatively high nutrient content and its excellent physical properties. DAP (Diammonium Phosphate) fertilizer is a two-nutrient fertilizer. Within 18% of nitrogen (N) and 46% phosphorus (P) it is located. The content of nitrogen, ammonium (NH4) is especially effective in the early stage of development because it is in the form of plants. The amount of nitrogen in the base structure (underground) can meet the requirements of the plant is used as fertilizer. DAP fertilizer at the top of this needs to be supported for use with other nitrogen fertilizer plant. Nitrogen ammonium (NH4) is kept in the soil for that form. In case of heavy rainfall or excessive irrigation with no loss of nitrogen from soil washing. DAP fertilizer in our country as well as all over the world are used as phosphorus fertilizer. Plant nutrients as phosphorus, essential for the development of the roots of the plant's initial growth period, and phosphorus is very much needed in energy metabolism. Failure to carry out a sufficient amount of a plant or a suitable depth phosphorus deficiency is seen; efficiency and quality of the larger declines

Contents:

  • Nitrogen as N = 18.0%,
  • Phosphorus as P2O5 = 46.0%,

TRIPLE SUPER PHOSPHATE (TSP) P46%

Descriptions

  • (Leaf) Triple superphosphate is highly concentrated phosphorus fertilizer with contents of 46% diphosphorus pentoxide (P2O5). It is appropriate for feeding all the types of soils which have рН within the limits of weakly acidic to alkaline medium. It assists the acceleration of the growth and the development of the root system, increases the resistance of the plants to freezing, helps for the full absorption of the soil moisture, and in this manner it reduces the probability of damages to the plants in time periods of drought. In combination with nitrogen fertilizers in a balanced formulation it assists the absorption also of other nourishing elements of the plant. The time periods during which the triple superphosphate is applied are predominantly as stocking autumn fertilization, as it is a slowly acting fertilizer. The gradual delivery of the active substance is due to the technology of production itself and the fact that the basic raw materials are phosphorus ores. They determine the contents of various forms, which phosphorus is in the product in. Certain conditions of the medium are required for the decomposition of phosphorus in the soil to forms, which are easily absorbable for the plants. Water-soluble phosphorus is the most accessible for the crops and the remaining forms contained in it must pass through various processes to reach these forms. Due to the water-soluble phosphorus, which the phosphorus is connected in the fertilizer in, it may provide for momentary satisfaction of the needs of the plants of phosphoric food, the remaining forms continue to deliver an active substance for a longer time period. This quality makes it very effective for agriculture because of its prolonged action.

Advantages

  • It accelerates the growth of the root system of the young plants;
  • It shortens the time period of youthful infertility of young grape vines and fruit crops, it accelerates the florescence and the ripening of the fruits;
  • It increases the resistance of the plants to freezing and drought;
  • It performs a decisive role for the formation of the quality of the production of cereals, vegetable, fruit, technical and oil-bearing crops;
  • It eliminates the negative influence of one-sided nitrogen fertilization;
  • Plants derive most phosphorus from the soil in the middle of their vegetation when the main volume of vegetative mass is formed and the production is created
